The cameras show Simon Jewel sitting on some stairs outside a library.
Simon Jewel: My name is Simon Jewel and the last time that I was in front of a camera I announced my retirement from professional wrestling due to behind the scenes family problems. I want to make something clear about that situation. I’ve not talked to my family in a very long time. In fact you might say that I don’t even know who my family is. What that means is for me to say that I retired from professional wrestling to help through a problem then everybody fell perfectly into a trap. What was the trap? It was to get that last piece sympathy from every single wrestler and every single fan so that when I made a shocking return to the ring I could say one thing. I don’t need fan support, I don’t need support from any other wrestler the only person that I need support from is me. I want to talk to the fans first. Do you know why I don’t need your support? It’s because I never had it to begin with. Every time that I wrestled a match against a wrestler that didn’t care about you at all I was the one that every single one of you tried to boo out of the building. I don’t feel like you people appreciated me and now that I’m back in professional wrestling I feel like I don’t have to appreciate you either. That brings me to all of the other wrestlers. Early on in my career I had a man called Chris Andrews throw every obstacle at me that he could. He had names like Jackhammer face me and I could defeat him very easily. What I’m saying is I was inside the head of Chris Andrews and there was nothing that he could do to get rid of me. Then came a challenge from a man called Jarvis Cole. The only thing that I’m going to say about Jarvis is this. He saw me as a man with a lot of potential so instead of thinking that I could helped him in his own battle with Chris Andrews’ men he tried to bury my career. Jarvis I want you to know that I’m nobodies puppet so the days of trying to bury me to help career are over. In fact that goes for everybody else in UCWA: All Star. I’m not here to be your friend, I’m here to be your enemy.
Simon Jewel stops talking and takes a deep breath.
Simon Jewel: When I think of my wrestling career one thing that I refuse to believe is I never won any titles. So I’m back because I think that the time has come for me to become a champion. That’s why when I heard of the webisode concept I very quickly signed up. I’m going into the webisode show with one thing on my mind. Finally becoming a champion. To be honest I was hoping that I would be in contention for either the World Heavyweight Title or the TV Title but I guess the Tag Team Titles works for me as well. So I just want David crisp to know that despite the fact that I don’t care about the fans or the other wrestlers anymore I’m very hungry to hold a piece of gold so if I need to control my aggression so that we get on for one match then I will control it.
Simon Jewel stops talking for a few seconds.
Simon Jewel: However the thing about my aggression is there’s a moment that to this day haunts me. It’s the moment when a man called Sexy Jason attacked me with a Steele chair. Do you remember that moment Jason? At the time you did enjoy doing it to me. The only problem is I never got my revenge over you for doing it. My time to get revenge over that moment is coming because I’m going to hurt you in the tag match. The only difference between the way that you hurt me and the way that I hurt you is that you’ll never recover from it. In fact let’s just say that you won’t make it to No Limits where you face Christian Kane. You see Jason there’s a beast inside of me and it’s telling me that I need to finish what you started. The only problem you have is when I’m focused I get the job done
Simon Jewel stops talking and takes a deep breath.
Simon Jewel: That brings me to Ed Houston. Ed I want to ask you one question what did you mean by Simon might think his championship is his? To me it sounds like you meant to say Simon might think this championship is his but you got so caught up in the moment that you messed up and said the wrong word. What does that tell me about you Ed? It tells me that you’re useless and pathetic and your mind isn’t even focused on the match. Ed this could be your only chance to win a title at UCWA: All Star but your mind clearer isn’t focused enough on winning it and at the end of the day that’s going to be the reason why you lose the match. As for me Ed I’ve never felt more focused on becoming a champion before and now that I’m this close to winning a title I’m doing whatever I can to make sure that I’m not distracted. I will not throw away this opportunity.
Simon Jewel stops talking and looks around.
Simon Jewel: There’s one more thing that I want to say about Ed Houston. Ed you say that you’re a spaceman turned wrestler? Do you know what that tells me? It tells me that you’re about to go from exploring the entire universe right down to being buried under ground. There’s no place in wrestling for a man with such a daft background and that’s why it’s so easy for someone like me who’s a serious wrestler to make fun of you.
Simon Jewel begins to laugh.
Simon Jewel: Ed if I get my hands on you in the match then you’re going to look out of place against me. Do you know why you’ll look out of place? It’s because I’m a lot bigger and stronger than you are.
Simon Jewel stops talking and thinks.
Simon Jewel: Ed I’m going to give you some advice. Please don’t do what I did and try impress the fans because at the end of the day their opinions don’t matter. The only opinion that matter at the end of the day is your own. Take it from me I feel like I got absolutely no love from them at all and I really do believe that I’ve come out of it better than ever.
Simon Jewel stops talking and takes a deep breath.
Simon Jewel: This is a final message to the fans I don’t care what you lot say or do because soon I’m going to be a champion and it’ll be without your help.
Scene fades.
